Friday 14th February 2020 - Valentines wheel class at Sherwood!
Friday 14th February 2020 6pm - 7:30pm
Sherwood, 554 Frankton Road, Queenstown 9300, Aotearoa, New Zealand
Bring your beau for a date night to remember!
Join Queenstown based ceramicist Bea Bellingham at the incredible Sherwood hotel, bar, and restaurant for an extra special ceramic workshop.
You'll be sat across from your significant other, best pal, or if you choose to go stag your soon-to-be pottery-pal, to learn how to throw your very own ceramic vessel.
Expect wonky pots, a whole lot of muddy mess, and a barrel of laughs.
Look, you're not going to end up a pro at the end of this lesson, but it will give you a good idea about how fun ceramics is so you can come and do more classes at a later date!
You will learn:
The process of stoneware ceramics
The basics of wheel throwing
One ticket to the class,
A glass of wine on arrival
Your final item
Materials, use of tools and firing
Extra drinks from the Sherwood Bar. OR even better, stay for a romantic dinner afterwards.
You can either pick up your final items, or we’ll mail them out to you (even if you’re international!), or take your items home right away and we can tell you where to have them fired.
Class sizes are strictly limited to 16 people (sorry, you must be over 18 years to attend)
You won't be mailed tickets for this workshop - you'll be automatically added to our guest list for the night on purchase. Just show up on the night :)
